Before Positano
wakes up.
Positano,
just for a moment.
I do not photograph in Positano very often, but these two really wanted their session here. I am so glad we did it. From the beginning, they looked like they had stepped out of a film, and everything between us felt easy.
It was summer, so we began very early. In a town where people usually fill every little street, those quiet morning hours are something special. We could walk, stop, and photograph without constantly waiting for space.
Positano, just for a moment.
Very little
direction needed.
I hardly had to tell them what to do. There was trust from the start, and they were so natural together that I could simply follow what was happening in front of me.
I love sessions like this. You are still looking carefully at the light and every small detail, but the people bring so much of themselves that the photographs seem to find their own way.
Very little direction needed.
Worth the
early alarm.
Morning golden hour is my favourite time to begin. I enjoy getting up early, especially in summer, and I was very happy that they were willing to do the same.
That morning gave us everything: a lovely connection, quiet corners, and light that needed almost no adjustment afterwards. I like these photographs exactly for that feeling of ease. It was there when we made them.
Worth the early alarm.
A place. A feeling.
A story that’s yours.
Tell me a little about yourself.
I’ll take care of the light, the places, and the quiet moments in between.
