A morning
above the sea.
A villa
worth waiting for.
Anh knew exactly what she wanted. She booked almost four months ahead and chose one of my favourite villas in Conca dei Marini. I had photographed there several times before and already loved the place. She and her boyfriend had reserved this beautiful villa with its extraordinary view.
We met on 10 April 2026. April and October are my favourite months on the coast. You can see its beauty clearly, and in the morning there are still so few people that nothing gets in the way of enjoying it.
A villa worth waiting for.
The softest
April light.
When I arrived, they had only just had their first coffee. The morning was overcast, but in that particular Amalfi way. It was nothing like the grey skies I know from Eastern Europe: here it felt as though we were inside an enormous softbox.
The sun stayed somewhere in the distance, and no direct rays reached our photographs. Everything else was wonderful. The soft light and the view from the villa were almost unreal.
The softest April light.
Out for a walk,
then home again.
We made both individual portraits and couple photographs on that balcony. Then we walked a little higher into Conca dei Marini before returning to the villa.
We worked so well together. It was a calm, beautiful morning and a very enjoyable shoot, with lovely memories to take away.
Out for a walk, then home again.
A place. A feeling.
A story that’s yours.
Tell me a little about yourself.
I’ll take care of the light, the places, and the quiet moments in between.
