Superman Lands in Ravello 🎬
The highlight of this weekend? Superman — the latest incarnation from director James Gunn. Saturday, February 7th features two screenings (6:30 PM and 9:00 PM) of the most anticipated superhero film of the year.
Gunn's vision brings something fresh to the Man of Steel: a hero who's deeply human, driven by compassion, and optimistic about humanity despite our flaws. It's epic, action-packed, genuinely funny, and surprisingly emotional — a Superman for our time that honors the character's legacy while speaking to modern audiences.

Sunday: Local Stories on Screen 🎥
February 8th at 6:30 PM shifts gears to something more intimate. The Associazione Archivio Cinematografico Costiera Amalfitana presents two short films rooted in local history:
"Luca Milano — Il Re dell'Africana" tells the story of the legendary owner of Praiano's famous Africana nightclub, a figure who defined an era of coastal nightlife.
"Le conseguenze dell'attore — Il piccolo Michele Esposito" explores the early cinematic adventures of a young Michele Esposito.
Both documentaries are directed (or co-directed) by Daniele Chiariello, who has a gift for capturing the essence of local characters and their larger-than-life stories.
