Getting to Atrani with a public transport
From Naples to Salerno
To get to Atrani, start your journey at Napoli Centrale and take a train to Salerno train station. Different trains are available, and they all roughly take the same amount of time to get there. Check train times and buy your tickets at trenitalia.com. If you’re not sure about your plans while in Naples, you can also buy tickets directly at the train station. If you’re coming from other cities in Italy, you might want to use italotreno.it. They offer faster and more comfortable trains.
Ferry Salerno-Amalfi
From the train station, walk two blocks towards the sea to find the Salerno seaport named Concordia. The ferry is the fastest and most scenic route to Amalfi, it has no stop in Atrani. Once you arrive in Amalfi, you can walk to Atrani. Just turn right as you leave the ferry station behind and follow the road next to the water. The walk takes about 10 minutes.
Bus Salerno-Amalfi (Atrani)
Right outside the train station exit, you’ll find a SITA bus stop. You need to get to Amalfi Bus. It on Google Maps or the Moovit app it marked as line 5120. The bus destination is shown at the top. Remember to buy your bus ticket before getting on; look for any shop displaying a “T” (Tabacchi) symbol to purchase one.

Walking from Amalfi’s ferry station and a bus stop to Atrani.
To reach Atrani from the bus stop or Seaport of Amalfi, start by walking along the shore until you find a tunnel on your left near dejavu Amalfi . This tunnel, hidden from the main road, is always open and exclusively for pedestrians, ensuring the safest route between towns. Once you exit the tunnel, cross the road, and you’ll see the entrance to the restaurant Cantina Nostromo on your left. Walk through the restaurant and down the steps, and you’ll find yourself in Atrani, just below the bus stop.
From the main parking lot, head up to the fruits and vegetables shop. Continue to the tunnel and turn inside it towards the ring. After climbing 10 steps, you’ll arrive at your destination.

Parking in Atrani
Parking in Amalfi coast is a general problem. There is public parking spot right in the town but it cost 3€ for 1 hour and it’s forbidden during night time. So you need to move your car out of town after 11p.m. anyway.

The closest public parking to Atrani is Parcheggio Luna Rossa, located within a 5-minute walk. It costs up to 25€ per day and is open 24 hours. In case of full capacity, alternative parking can be found at the Seaport of Amalfi, simply follow the signs.”
