From Naples to Salerno
Travel from Napoli Centrale to the Salerno train station by train. There are various options available, all taking approximately the same time. The most economical choice is a ticket priced at 4.30€. You can view schedules and purchase tickets on the website www.trenitalia.com. In case you are uncertain about your schedule in Naples, tickets can also be purchased at the train station.
Ferry Salerno-Amalfi
Proceed two blocks from the train station in the direction of the sea to reach the Salerno seaport. Taking the ferry is the quickest and most enjoyable way to reach Amalfi, bypassing a stop in Atrani. The one-way fare is 9€ per person. Upon arriving in Amalfi, walk to Atrani along the main road. Upon disembarking the ferry, turn right towards the road adjacent to the water, this is the path to follow. The total journey by foot takes approximately 10 minutes.
Bus Salerno-Amalfi (Atrani)
A SITA bus stop is located immediately outside the train station exit, and can be found on Google Maps as line 5120. The destination is displayed on the top of the bus. To ride the bus, you must purchase tickets prior to boarding from any shop with a “T” (Tabacchi) symbol outside.
Walking from Amalfi’s ferry station to the meeting point.
From the bus stop or Seaport of Amalfi you need to walk along the shore to the tunnel. It’s located on the left and isn’t visible from the main road. Near caffe dejavu Amalfi Go inside of the tunnel. It’s always open and its only for pedestrians; the safest road from town to town.
After you pass through the first tunnel, cross the road and continue through the next tunnel, which is used by cars. At the exit of the tunnel we will be waiting for you!
